The engine runs in this tab, in a background worker, so the page never freezes and you can cancel a run halfway through. The only things Noumbra sends over the network are your account and your payment.
The file is decoded off your disk and turned the right way up. A clarity pass lifts flat light and pulls edges apart before anything gets counted.
Colour collapses down to the number of paints you asked for. Shapes too small to hold a brush get folded into whichever neighbour they look most like.
Borders become vector paths that both neighbours share, so there is no white seam between two colours and nothing stair-steps when you print it big.
Stroke width and number size are recalculated for the sheet you picked, then a numeral is set at the widest point inside every shape.

No. Decoding, colour reduction, tracing and layout all happen in your tab. The requests Noumbra does make carry your account and your payment, never an image. If you make an account, it stores the recipe and a small thumbnail so you can re-render later, not the original file.
You buy a pass once, from €1 for a day up to €20 for a forever pass, and generate as many templates as the pass holds. A generation unlocks one image completely. After that you can resize it, retune it and download every format again without spending anything. Nothing renews on its own, and the first image on every account is free.
Eighteen is a good starting point for a portrait on A3: enough steps to read a face, few enough to finish in an evening. Landscapes want more and logos want far fewer. The brush guard warns you before export if any shape has come out under 2.5 mm.
Open it from your shelf and re-render. A generated image re-renders at any size and any line weight without another generation, because the generation is attached to the image and not to one file.
Your profile page carries a personal invite link. Anyone who makes their account after following it counts as yours, and every pass they buy adds half of its generations to your balance. That happens on every purchase they make, not just their first.
After a generation you can share a preview of it. Shared pieces go to the community page, where anyone can rate them and repaint them, and to a public gallery page of your own that you can link to. The wall on this page is a small curated pick from those. You confirm you own the rights before sharing and you can take a piece down whenever you like.
